Yes. Even though the course remains accessible subject to availability, we strongly recommend booking your tee time in advance to secure your preferred time.

Yes. The 9-hole course, made up exclusively of par 3 holes, is accessible to beginners while still offering real technical interest for experienced players.
Do you offer golf lessons?
Yes. Private lessons, clinics and on-course coaching are available throughout the summer, for holidaymakers as well as Courchevel residents.
Can I rent equipment?
Yes. Clubs, trolleys and other equipment can be rented directly from Courchevel Golf Club, subject to availability.

Located at nearly 2,000 metres above sea level, Courchevel Golf Club offers a unique experience combining mountain golf, Alpine panoramas and a natural setting in the heart of the French Alps. Its 9-hole course, made up exclusively of par 3 holes, is approved for all handicap indexes.
Is the Courchevel Golf Club course difficult?
The course remains accessible to all levels, but it offers a genuine technical challenge with its elevation changes, mountain greens and varied distances. It requires precision and strategy.
Has the course been modified recently?
Yes. Several holes have been lengthened since 2020 to add more challenge and create an even higher-quality playing experience.
How long does it take to play the 9 holes?
You should generally allow between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes, depending on how busy the course is and the pace of play. Sportier players can also play several rounds on the same day.
Which are the most iconic holes on the course?
Several holes are particularly appreciated, especially hole no. 2 for its spectacular views of the Alpine peaks, and hole no. 6 with its impressive downhill tee shot.
Can I view the course map before playing?
Yes. The course map, scorecard and handicap stroke tables are available to download from the Courchevel Golf Club website.
Can I play without being a member of Courchevel Golf Club?
Yes. The course is open to visiting players during the summer season, subject to availability and competitions organised by the club.
Practice, Club House & Shop
Is the practice area suitable for beginners?
Yes. The practice area is open to all levels, from beginners to experienced golfers. It is ideal for working on your swing, distances and short game in an exceptional mountain setting.
Do I need to book to use the practice area?
No. Access to the practice area generally does not require a booking. Simply go to the Club House during opening hours.
Can I use the practice area without paying a green fee?
Yes. The practice area can be used independently of the course. Buckets of balls are available at the Club House reception.
Is the Club House open to non-golfers?
Yes. The Club House also welcomes visitors, accompanying guests and non-golfers during the summer season.
Can I enjoy the terrace without playing golf?
Yes. The terrace is open to visitors who wish to enjoy the setting, have a drink or wait for players.
What services are available at the Club House?
The Club House offers reception, a bar, a panoramic terrace, a specialist shop and direct access to the practice area and training zones.
Does the shop sell golf equipment?
Yes. The shop offers balls, gloves, caps, accessories, clothing and products in the colours of Courchevel Golf Club.
Which brands are available in the shop?
The shop offers a selection of well-known brands such as Sun Valley, Callaway, Odyssey, Ogio, Titleist, FootJoy and Trolem.
What is a tee line?
The tee line used at Courchevel Golf Club is made from premium nylon fibres. It recreates the feel of a natural fairway and allows players to place their tee freely for more realistic practice.

Can I play at Courchevel Golf Club without being a member?
Yes. Green fees are available for visiting players throughout the summer season, subject to course availability.
Are reduced rates available for juniors?

Yes, the golf club is open daily during the summer season, subject to mountain weather conditions and events organised by the club.
Competitions, Events & Golf Trips
Are competitions open to visiting players?
Yes. Most competitions organised by Courchevel Golf Club are open to visiting players. Participants pay the competition entry fee as well as the applicable green fee for the period of the season.
How do I enter a competition?
Entries can be made directly online from the Programme page or through Courchevel Golf Club before the deadline indicated for each competition.
What is the entry fee for a competition?
The competition entry fee is €15 for adults and €10 for juniors. Visiting players must also pay the applicable 9-hole or 18-hole green fee for the period of the season.
Do competitions count towards the handicap index?
Yes. Individual Stableford competitions are approved and allow all players, whatever their handicap index, to record a score. Team competitions, such as Scramble or Shamble formats, do not count towards the handicap index under FFGolf rules.
Are handicap-counting competitions organised during the week?
Yes. 9-hole handicap-counting competitions are held every Thursday from 4:30 p.m. during the season. They are open to members and visitors.
Are golf trips reserved for members?
Courchevel Golf Club members have priority for registration. Subject to availability, friends of the club and accompanying guests may also take part in certain trips.
What is included in the golf trips organised by Courchevel Golf Club?
Trips generally include accommodation, several golf courses, sports organisation and friendly social moments. Details of each programme are provided on the dedicated page for the trip concerned.

FFGolf Licences & Memberships
Why take out an FFGolf licence?
The FFGolf licence allows your handicap index to be officially recorded and managed, enables you to take part in federation competitions and includes insurance provided by the French Golf Federation.
Does the FFGolf licence include insurance?
Yes. The FFGolf licence includes civil liability insurance as well as personal accident insurance, with cover and conditions defined by the French Golf Federation.
Can I buy my FFGolf licence without being a club member?
Yes. Courchevel Golf Club offers FFGolf licence subscription and renewal, whether you are a club member or simply attached to Courchevel Golf Club as a licence holder.
When is my FFGolf licence activated?
The licence is generally activated as soon as possible after your order has been validated. You will then receive your licence certificate and be able to access the services offered by FFGolf.
Can I play as much as I want with a membership?
Yes. Courchevel Golf Club memberships give unlimited access to the course and training areas throughout the opening season.
Is the FFGolf licence included in the membership?
No. The membership and the FFGolf licence are two separate products. The licence can be taken out separately through Courchevel Golf Club.
What benefits are reserved for Courchevel Golf Club members?

How do I choose the membership category suited to my age?
Each membership is defined according to an age group or family situation. Eligibility conditions are specified in the description of each available package.
Can members take part in club competitions?
Yes. Members can take part in competitions organised throughout the season, whether friendly events, sponsored competitions or informal matches.
Is member loyalty rewarded?
Yes. Courchevel Golf Club rewards the loyalty of its members by crediting 10% of the membership amount each year to an electronic wallet that can be used at the club for eligible purchases and services.
