Greg | HEAD PRO
Greg has been a pro in Courchevel for over 10 years.
He has been a PGA France member since 2000, Golf coach since 2010.
The rest of the year he organizes golf courses abroad and in Evian.
- His vision of the course: Its compact appearance nevertheless makes it a real 9-hole course with big greens and real tees. It is very interesting for all players even the best.
- His best memory : The 20 years club competition under the snow in July.
- His favorite hole : The 6, unique by its drop. It is always nice to find your ball plugged on the green after a good shot.
- The hole he dreads : The 4, because it requires a half stroke of the sandwedge ; hard not to be hesitant on this hole.
- His approach to teaching : I believe in a progressive approach depending on the level of the player. My approach is based on loosening up and throwing the club, essential for a beginner. And as the player evolves, I work on launching the club through the body in perfect harmony.
Simon | Yoda master
Simon has been a pro in Courchevel for over 10 years. He is a Golf Instructor, holder of a BJEPS since 2006. During the rest of the year, he teaches on the Buc - Toussus le Noble golf course.
- His vision of the course : This course provides a unique setting rich in color, which we have the pleasure of enjoying with each game. I will not forget the golf team who put their efforts into preparing the course and welcoming us in a warm atmosphere.
- Best memory : The day I set the course record in a competition by playing -4.
- His favorite hole : The 7, certainly the shortest, but very vicious.
- The hole he fears : The 6, because the drop is such that it confuses. So it’s very difficult to put the ball to the flag.
- His teaching approach : My approach is essentially based on the fundamentals of swing (grip, posture and alignment) and on body rotations with good support.
Matt | KUUCH
Matthieu has been a pro in Courchevel since 2008. He has been a PGA France member since 2008, Golf coach since 2012. Pro teacher and coach of team 1 at Saint Germain Golf, he now teaches at Nantes Golf Club.
- His vision of the course : When I think of the Golf of Courchevel, I think above all of its conviviality. The course is very short, but it requires a precise set of irons. Believe me, this course will allow you to progress considerably in the calibration of your irons.
- His best memory : Both the worst and the best of my memories : a comma for a hole in 1 at hole 6.
- His favorite hole : The 2, because the presence of this large rock (the canine), in front of the green, brings a dose of adrenaline to the start.
- The hole he dreads : The 8, because it requires a very precise shot at the risk of seeing his ball neither in the river or the tall grass.
- His approach to teaching : Keep it simple like all throwing sports. His approach is based on the work of the supports, the rotations of the body, then the balance.
