Chers amis golfeurs,
Quand on nous parle du golf de Courchevel, c’est pour évoquer son écrin de

verdure et son panorama exceptionnel dominé par le massif de la Saulire.

Certains mettent en avant la qualité de ses greens mais avant tout c’est la

convivialité qui règne au sein de notre club qui contribue à toujours plus de

fréquentation.

C’est pour cela que le Comité , grâce à l’aide des partenaires fidèles et à toute

l’équipe de l’accueil et de l’entretien, fait tout ce qui est en son pouvoir pour

maintenir cet état d’esprit et conforter la place de cette activité au sein de notre

belle station.

La France a obtenu l’organisation de la Ryder Cup en 2018, véritable

championnat du monde de ce sport et Courchevel doit se préparer à accueillir

plus de golfeurs dans les années qui viennent, car nul doute que ce futur

évènement va « booster » l’arrivée de nouveaux pratiquants.

L’année 2012 apporte des transformations substantielles à notre parcours.

Un nouveau chalet plus spacieux et fonctionnel remplace les petits mazots en

place depuis la création du golf et des travaux d’aménagement des remontées

mécaniques vont modifier notamment le trou numéro 3.

Pendant l’été, on devrait voir aussi l’installation d’un nouveau télésiège 6 places

à la place du télésiège 4 places du Biollay mais notre partenaire S3V mettra tout

en oeuvre pour perturber au minimum l’activité golf durant la prochaine saison.

Amis golfeurs, nous vous souhaitons une très belle année golfique, pleine de

performances et de belles rencontres.

When people speak about golf in

Courchevel, they mention how verdant

it is and they speak of the exceptional

panorama dominated by the mountains

at the Saulire.

Some speak of the exceptional

quality of the greens, but above all it

is the conviviality of the club which

contributes to the ever increasing

number of players.

It is for this reason that the committee,

thanks to the help of loyal partners and

the staff, does all it can to maintain this

frame of mind and strengthen the place

of this activity in our beautiful resort.

France has obtained the organization

of the Ryder Cup in 2018, a true

world championship for this sport and

Courchevel must prepare to welcome

more golfers in the coming years, for

no one doubts that this future event

will boost the arrival of new players.

The year 2012 will bring substantial

changes to our course. A new club

house, more spacious and practical

will replace the former chalet that has

been in place since the club opened.

Work on the ski lifts will modify notably

hole number 3. During the summer we

should see the installation of a new 6

seater chair lift to replace the former 4

seater Biollay one. Our partner S3V Ski

Lift Company will however do all they

can to disturb as little as possible our

golfing season.
